Partner nr.1: Zespol Szkol ogolnoksztalcacych Nr 1, Chorzow, Poland
TZSO Nr 1 in Chorzów is general lower and upper secondary school. Sports plays a relevant role in school activities. Our school organises and takes part in many different sport events which promowe healthy and active way of life. Each year we realise projects with groups with our students and also with students from other schools.
- Our students have the opportunity to practice voleiball, basketball, football, tennis table etc.
- Special classes for students who are not abale to take active part in sport classes. They have lectures and workshops about healthy way of living, about nutrition etc.
- Famous sportsmen give classes from time to time in our school.
- Each year we participate special day – Day of Sport. All of our students and teachers take part in competitions, classes, lectures etc.
Many students have their own succeses in different disciplines.
The school counts with experts in European projects, so that they can coordinate in the best way, and also counts with sports teachers to carry out the project activities.
The coordinator will be responsible for project management and the Guide of good governace and will contribute with their expertise to the project. The institution will organize project a meeting and a sports day.
Partner nr.2: Ekpol- Etaireia Koinonikis Paremvasis Kai Politismou-Periferei, Valos, Greece
EKPOL is a civil non-profit council of the Region of Thessaly, public equivalent body, which aims at successfully tackling obstacles on society issues (support vulnerable groups and promote strategies for social inclusion, cohesion and development). Additionally, EKPOL aims at implementing Projects for the cultural promotion of Thessaly Region through co-ordinated actions. It was established in 1996. There are 5 people working on a permanent basis for EKPOL with all others trainers working on a per hour basis.
The aims of the institution are:
- Provide young people more attractive sports training programmes, in line with individuals’ needs and expectations, through sports practices. It’d be based in multisports practice puting athletics at the center.
- Geting benefits from the values, and skills acquired in sports practice and bring them into the school, family and community environment ,eg. teamwork, rules, respect and leadership.
- Develop new methods in sports practice to better support young people in sports practice, personal development, the acquisition of transversal skills to better integrate in the world of work. (communication, decision making, authonomy…)
Partner nr.3: Sport and culture management association, A Coruna, Spain
Our association tries to bring together physical education teachers , coaches and specialists in sports methodology to try to work in coordination and research related to physical education , exchange and development of materials by different teachers work , coordinating a group of experts from different sports to build bridges , advising clubs methodological and organizational level, assist in the creation of sports events, connect with other professionals from other countries to see the methodological differences of work with respect to ours.
The institution works with teams in the area, will contribute to the creation of new materials of physical education (videos of Master classes), will participate in meetings and will contrubute to project results and outputs.
The spanish partner will be responsible of the “ Masters Classes”, Platform and Web , Final conference and sports week.
Partner nr.4: Asociatia de Sprijin a Colegiului National Unirea, Turnu Magurele, Romania
ASCNU is the acronym of Asociatia de Sprijin a Colegiului National Unirea. Is a privete ONG, not for profit, non gouvernamental of the parents, students, teachers and students of Unirea HighSchool
The main goal is supporting the extracurricula activities of Unirea HighSchool. For this we organized a sports department in which operates two high school sports teachers. The department is led by the Professor of Physical Education Smadu John.
So far the association has organized and supported the following activities:
- Athletics the Pentathlon contest for boys and girls, we have 2 teams of 5 students trained by John Smadu and Teodor Aldea.
The results were:
– April 2016, Second place, girls, South Muntenia development region;
– 2015 Third Place, Boys, South Muntenia development region;
– 2014 Second Place, boys and girls, Teleorman county.
- Chess Team, coached by teacher John Smadu.
We participated in the finals, national stage: 2015, 2014.
- Ping Pong Team, coached by teacher John Smadu
We participated in the finals, national stage: 2015 2014.
- Handball Team( boys and girls), each composed of 16 students of which 10 are enrolled in competitions, coached by John Smadu and Teodor Aldea
Results: First Place in 2015, Boys and Girls, at the county phase (Teleorman).;
Second place in 2014, Boys and Girls, at the county phase (Teleorman).
The institution is responsible for dissemination and will contribute to all project result and will organize a project meeting the sports day.
